A Port Huron company is looking to create 68 jobs and invest $803,000 to expand its existing facility.
PJ Wallbank Springs, Inc. was founded in Port Huron in 1982.
Company President Chris Wallbank said the company located at 2121 Beard St. is currently hiring and will look at creating all of the nearly 70 jobs over the next two to three years.
“We’re excited for the growth and what we have in store for not just the organization but the community, we’re looking forward to the impact its going to have and really we’re focused on continuing to build our organization based on good people and we’re optimistic we can get that here locally,” Wallbank said.
The company currently employees about 90 people. It designs and manufactures spring packs for automatic transmissions.
